Kilimanjaro route: North Flank

This unique north flank ascent was first climbed in June 1999 by Julius Minga and Jeremy Gane. The route (also known as Mountain Madness) offers the toughest trekking programme on Kilimanjaro, a chance to cross Kibo's crater from north to south, and a route climbed by no other company.
